Covid-19 Announcement

 

At Shenandoah River Getaways the health and safety of our guests is always a top priority! While we follow health and safety standards every day, we want to make you aware of the extra precautions we’re taking to ensure everyone stays healthy while there is heightened concern about COVID-19 (coronavirus). Additionally, we are closely monitoring the CDC recommendations and updates as well as state requirements or mandates. 

 

At this time our business is NOT restricted from allowing guests to use our vacation rentals. We are welcoming and continuing to plan private getaways for all of our properties.

• Our cleaning staff continues to follow our strict cleaning guidelines and each and every cabin is inspected following a cleaning. 

• Every surface that a guest frequently touches from the key-less entry, doorknobs, remote controls, appliances, furniture, counter tops, and more are thoroughly disinfected before check-in. 

• Every hard surface is wiped down, and every soft surface sprayed. 

• Our customer transactions are done via phone, email, or website, and since all of our vacation rentals have key-less entry, exposure to our staff is typically not necessary. 

• Since we do not offer common use facilities other than outdoor nature areas, our guests can still enjoy a scenic getaway while staying within a safe social distance from the general public. 

• Each vacation rental has a private hot tub accessible only to the guest occupying the rental, and none of our vacation rentals share doors or any other space with other guest accommodations. 

 

As stated, we take our guest safety very seriously and will continue to post updates on our website for changes that may impact this announcement.
